Key facial landmarks and danger zones
Anatomy Education
Anatomy Education Built for Real Clinical Practice
Confident injectors understand anatomy beyond surface landmarks. Led by Dr. Alan Durkin, MedSpa Network’s anatomy education programs give providers the opportunity to study facial anatomy through cadaver education, live surgical observation, and advanced clinical discussion designed to strengthen safety, outcomes, and injector confidence.
Dr. Alan Durkin is a dual board-certified plastic surgeon, national educator, and experienced facial surgeon with more than 15 years of experience training providers in aesthetic medicine, facial anatomy, injectables, and surgical techniques.
Our anatomy programs are designed for injectors who want a deeper understanding of the face, not just memorized injection patterns.

What Participants Learn
Live Surgical Observation Experience
From Anatomy Lab
to Live Surgery
Participants may register for live surgical observation with Dr. Alan Durkin at our Vero Beach Quad-A accredited surgical center. This experience gives providers the rare opportunity to watch facial anatomy exposed in real time and better understand how surgical anatomy translates directly to aesthetic medicine.
The Concepts Participants Observe:
For select experiences, participants may enter the operating room in a sterile environment, wear sterile gloves, and physically feel anatomical structures during surgery under physician guidance.
This level of exposure is rarely available in traditional injector training programs.

Understanding the Face in 3D
Most injectors are taught anatomy through diagrams and surface markings. Our goal is to help providers develop a true three-dimensional understanding of the face. This deeper anatomical understanding supports safer treatments, more predictable outcomes, and greater injector confidence.

Cadaver Anatomy Courses
Cadaver anatomy courses can be coordinated in most major U.S. markets through approved laboratory and educational facilities. Because anatomy education requires coordination with local venues, specimen availability, and state compliance requirements, we typically recommend approximately six weeks of lead time when planning private or sponsored courses.
Live Surgical Observation
Live surgical observation experiences are conducted exclusively at our Vero Beach, Florida Quad-A accredited surgical center with Dr. Alan Durkin. These sessions provide providers with the opportunity to observe live facial surgery, tissue dissection, surgical anatomy, and operative decision-making in a real clinical setting.
